i just discovered the customer appreciation pictures part of my etsy store.... i know i am a bit dense! but i wanted to post some of the cute people wearing my wears!

this photo was taken by a wonderful photographer in canada, aneca photography. isn't this just the cutest, the headband it one of the 3 strand flat flower headbands in cream!

this photograph was taken by photographer nicole carman. it is a picture of her mom and she is wearing my pear green mini-scarf & looks absolutely beautiful in it.

the cutie above is the daughter of my friend jennifer b. and she is wearing a flapper in yellow and a 3 strand blooming hb in teal

this is lora form eagerhands looking cute in a chunky slouchy in denim.

my anthro. wishlist

lately, i have been thinking a lot about getting new things for my kitchen and here are a few items i am putting on my anthro wish list to buy or try and make.

i am definitely going to try to make some dishtowels inspired by these ones with radical trims! i got some vintage trims from eagerhands that will work well for this project.

preping for heart day

for the table center piece i got this little red bucket out and got some 1/2 priced flowers at Michael's. i think it is cute and it was super easy... which i am all about! i am not a big decorator. i am trying harder to be festive for the penster!

i made this cute heart garland out of some free paper i got at spark. i held onto it, but i am not a big scrap booker, so this was a perfect little project. i got the idea from how about orange. i decided to string mine horizontally instead of vertically.

drop cloth for my p

our new dining room has carpet! i think it is kind of silly to put carpet in a dining area, but i think that is because i have a penelope! p tends to messy up the floor when she is eating and so i made a drop clothe for her!

i bought 2 towels from ikea ($1.50 ea) and i sewed them together to make the bottom soaker. i then took 1/2 yard of 2 different fabrics and cut them in 1/2. sewed them in a block pattern.

i bound the edges with the underside.

this gives me a heavy duty drop cloth that can be picked up after the meal shaken and folded up until the next time we eat!

plant mat

bryan and i bought a cute little tree/plant for our front room on monday. it is nice to have a houseplant or 2... anyway, my pot doesn't seem to want to catch all the water that comes out the bottom, so i threw together a little mat to put under the plant to soak up the excess. i think it is cute. i may want to make some on a larger scale for the kitchen....

i just used extra scraps of fabric cut 2" wide. then formed a ring, single crocheted 5 x in the ring, then i increasing in each stitch until it was the right size. super easy!

dish clothes!

this simple clothes are really great for scrubbing and cleaning dirty kitchen counters. they are extremely durable and wash well. i like to use fun colors for them, but you could also use white to make bleaching easy!

i thought you might like my pattern for these little guys. they measure around 7"x 7 1/2 " and are made out of 100% cotton yarn.

anniversary dinner!

for dinner on monday, our anniversary, i made rosemary & garlic roasted game hens, my mom's butter browned rice pilaf, and an apple, feta green salad. it was amazing! i also picked up some sparkling pomegranate & apple juice to make it seem more fancy. we had a pretty crazy day...at the dmv for 4 1/2 hours, grocery shopping, laundry etc.! it felt good to sit down and eat some good grub. the meal was pretty easy to make. i got the recipe for the hens on epicurious.comhere.
