imogen: 1 month old

Our little Imogen is 1 month old as of Jan 21st. We have just loved having this little lady in our family. At her 1 month check-up she was in the 75th percentile of weight and the 75th in height. She eats well and sleeps well, except when she doesn't...The girls are obsessed with her and make a big announcement any time she is awake. We currently think she might have blue eyes, but at this stage you really can't tell. She is my first baby to really like tummy time. She really is so sweet.

Here she is with her little knitted bear I made for her. It is the first knitted stuffed animal I have attempted and I think it turned out pretty cute.

Blessed

Oh, hey. How are you? I am fine, thanks for stopping by and checking on us. We aren't getting very much sleep and we have all (except Imogen) had/have various illnesses - NBD. I am not going to whine, my main purpose for posting today is to do the opposite. I really can't get over how blessed we are. We have health (mostly), love, the gospel of Jesus Christ and all life necessities+. Who needs sleep?

Also, LOOK AT MY BABY!

THE FROZEN OBSESSIONS

Isla (and penny to a lesser degree) is OBSESSED with the motion picture Frozen. Isla is now being asked to be called Princess Elsa. She dances around singing "Let it Go" and she has MEMORIZED the choreography from the music video. She also likes to wear her "Elsa Dress"(any of our fancier looking dress-op dresses) and "dancing shoes" (any of our plastic dress-up heels) while doing her "Let it go dance." It is all too cute. We saw Frozen in theaters on Thanksgiving and we have been growing more and more enamored with the flick everyday since... So right now, we have a lot of Frozen happening at our house. While my parent and sister were in town they took Penny and Isla to see it again and that was better that christmas. Isla calls it, "The BIG Frozen." Anyway, it is cute and a little obnoxious.

2 weeks of imogen elsie

Here are a few pictures that we took this week. Our little Imogen is 2 weeks old. She is already having more time awake and she is making eye contact. She is such a sweet baby. She is happy and calm. We love having this little chick in our home and in our family. I am hoping to write a bit about her birth in the next day or 2 and maybe post a picture of her birth announcement. We will see what gets done, right now I am really loving being lazy and cuddling with Imogen, the girls and Bryan.
